Update on Fraud Offenses at Walmart

Suspects are targeting elderly victims by watching them enter debit card PIN at self-checkout line. Suspects then distract victim in some manner, sometimes dropping a $20 bill at their feet, and then take the victim’s card. Suspects then use the card at the ATM.

Below are photos taken from security camera footage. Suspects have heavy European accents, possibly Romanian. The suspects may be driving a red Ford F-150, 1997-2003 model, with a spare tire in the bed. The truck has no front license plate. The truck is usually parked on the outer edge of the parking lot, far away from Walmart and ATM. The suspects arrive in large groups and work together to target the victims.

Please be aware of your surroundings and try to conceal entering pin numbers.
